Articles your customers actually read

The short answer

What makes an article worth paying for

An article earns its cost when it answers one question your customers really search, better than the pages already ranking, using things only your company knows: your prices, your jobs, your area. We write those articles for trades and home-service companies anywhere in the US, researched, fact-checked, dated and built around one search each.

Generic blog posts don't do that. "5 Tips for a Healthy Roof" written from other websites adds nothing new, and Google's guidance on AI search (updated 2026-07-10) recommends original, first-hand content over summaries of what's already online. An article that says what a tile re-roof really costs in your county, with your numbers and the permit steps, is something nobody else can copy.

Process

From question to published page

Pick the query

From your Search Console data and the questions your office hears every week.

Brief

A one-page brief: the search, the angle, sources, and what we need from you.

Interview

A short call so the article carries your experience, not ours.

Draft, check, approve

Written, fact-checked, and sent to you for corrections before publishing.

Publish and watch

Published with schema and links, then tracked in Search Console. Facts are re-checked when they go stale.

FAQ

Content questions

Do you use AI to write the articles?

AI helps with research and first drafts. Every article is then rewritten around your interview, checked fact by fact against its sources, and reviewed by you. We don't publish anything we wouldn't put our name to.

How long until an article brings in traffic?

Often a few months, and it depends on how competitive the search is. We can't promise traffic or rankings; we can promise the article answers its search properly and report how it performs in Search Console.

Will you write about prices? I don't want competitors to see mine.

Price searches are some of the most valuable a trades company can answer. Ranges with the reasons they vary work well and don't give away a quote. You decide what goes in.

Can you write for a site you didn't build?

Yes. We deliver the finished article with its images and suggested schema, and publish it for you if we have access.

How many articles do I need?

Fewer than you'd think. Ten articles that each answer a real customer question well will do more than fifty thin ones. Start with the questions your office answers on the phone every week.
