Who these terms are between
These terms apply when you use this website or buy a service from Stewart Code, operated by Stewart Code, 425 West Colonial Drive, 101-1009, Orlando, FL 32804, email contact@stewartcode.com. Effective date: October 29, 2026. Each paid project also has a written scope; where the scope and these terms differ, the written scope wins for that project.
Using this website and the Site X-ray
- You may use the site and the free Site X-ray for your own business purposes. Test only sites you own or have a legitimate reason to check.
- The X-ray is an automated preview using Google's public tests, not a full audit. Results can vary between runs and are provided as information, without a warranty.
- Don't overload the site, get around rate limits or bot checks, or use it to send spam.
- The guides and research are for general information. Check sources before relying on a figure; we date every number so you can.
Prices and payment
- Prices are published on the pricing page in U.S. dollars. Quote-based work is priced in writing before you commit.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. One-time projects take a deposit and the balance is invoiced at the milestones in your scope.
- Fixed price: "The price we quote is the price you pay. Any change to the scope is quoted in writing before we do the work."
- Invoices are due on the date shown on them. We may pause work on an overdue account after notice.
- Sales tax, where it applies, is added as shown at checkout or on the invoice.
Monthly plans
- Plans renew monthly until canceled. Some plans have a minimum term, shown on the pricing page.
- No lock-in: "Monthly plans are month-to-month after the minimum term."
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we let you know. Service may be paused if payment isn't resolved.
- No refunds: payments, deposits and monthly charges are not refunded. To cancel a monthly plan after any minimum term, email contact@stewartcode.com or use your Stripe billing link; canceling stops the next charge, and service runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
Ownership
You own everything: "Your domain, code, content, hosting account and analytics are set up in your name from day one. For project work, ownership of the code and design we create passes to you on full payment." We may keep general know-how, reusable tools and code libraries we developed independently, and you receive the right to use any of them that are part of your site.
With your permission only, we may show your project's before and after scores and a case study.
Our images and logo
The logo, share images and graphics on this website belong to Stewart Code. You may link to our pages and show their share previews. To use an image any other way, email contact@stewartcode.com and say which image and where it will appear; we reply with permission and the credit line to use.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, content you have the right to use, and timely feedback.
- Approve each stage in writing (email is fine). Delays on your side may move the launch date.
- Don't ask us to publish false claims, fake reviews or content you don't have the rights to. We will decline.
No guarantees
We don't guarantee any result. No one can promise rankings, traffic or a position in search or AI answers. Your written scope says what we will deliver, and the launch test results we share show what was measured. Content, embeds or scripts added after launch by you or anyone else are your responsibility.
Limits on liability
We do careful work, but websites depend on outside services (hosts, search engines, payment processors) that we don't control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Ending the work
Either side may end a project with written notice. You pay for work completed to that point, and we hand over everything finished. Monthly plans end as described under "Monthly plans" above.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and a signed scope keeps the terms in force when it was signed. Florida law governs these terms. Questions go to our contact page.
